The Seven Year Plague

The Candidates on the Economy

“It's not that I think John McCain doesn't care what's going on in the lives of most Americans," he said. "I just think he doesn't know."

Obama pointed to McCain's past statements on economic matters as he pressed his case that he is better equipped to bring about change.

"Why else would he say that we've made great progress economically under George Bush?" Obama asked. "Why else would he say that the economy isn't something he understands as well as he should? Why else would he say, today, of all days … that the fundamentals of the economy are still strong?" Source-Chicago Tribune

The irony of it all - it's worse drop in the market since 9/11/01 or seven (7) years of the Bush Regime. Did anyone check to see how the oil stocks fared? The November winner will have a big mess to clean up that's going to take more than talk, talk.
