Congratulations to the tireless activists whose pressure and publicity helped preserve the Gale Park Community Center for public use.

This shows how indispensable citizen participation is, and how much of a difference we can make in public policy.

It's not over yet. 'They' are continuing with their effort to have the B&GC operate out of the new Community Center, in spite of the availability of the much larger and much better equipped Gale Math & Science Academy Annex. Like Yogi famously said,"It's not over till it's over!
