Moore has really represented us well and has really worked to improve public transit by his support of this project, hasn't he?

Notice that while he was ripping into CTA, he never said one word about this project, which Da Mare pretty much packed down the throats of the transit agency and the city.

As though the thing doesn't cost enough to begin with- a total of over $240MM was budgeted for this project.

We could have had another rail line with that money. We could have totally replaced the decrepit Red Line with that money.

It's clear our politicians view public works projects strictly as conveyences by which massive chunks of public money can be conveyed to the back pockets of cronies and major power brokers.

Public service and utility come absolutely last.
