PINK

While searching the Internet for 'pink' I clicked on the above link. Those are some super protest hats at least.

This week marked a milestone - 500 returned pink postcards. No doubt the post office and mail carriers in Rogers Park are tired of the color. I should create a nice pink ensemble for the next community meeting.

Although the intruders have gone back to their own wards, the nuts aren't at the El anymore, the PINK is still floating around. So is someone else's sicko message on the back of it.

I don't forget easily. I'm still waiting a response from Joe.

Here's another site you might be interested in: http://www.standingwomen.org/

I personally don't think you will ever hear from Joe.

Gee, if the addressees on the pink postcards were able to vote in the aldermanic run-off election . . .

Somebody spent a lot of money on that mailing. 500 returned to you probably translates to a few thousand more than made it to their destination. A typical mass mailing is usually at least 5000 pieces.

It would be interesting to get an itemization, down to the last print job and postage stamp, of Moore's campaign spending. Unexplained expenditures of more than $100, or a pattern of many small, unexplained expenditures that appear "structured" to make it avoid looking like they are really for same thing, would be a good place to start.

I'm not familiar with the law in this area. Are we entitled to a really detailed itemization such as I have described?

Is there anything on the card that would indicate where it was printed?

FOB: Thanks for that link! It fits in with something Eva and I were planning for an event. I'll keep you posted. Perhaps more would like to join - gentlemen too.

Sylvia: That thought ran through my mind with each entry into the spreadsheet!

North Coast: I'm sure we'll be eagerly awaiting those little itemized reports! Or request one from the other bully organizations. Has anyone heard of the SEIU being quite so pushy in other 'targeted' wards? ACORN?

Tom ;-) What a sight! Wonder if that's the same Starhawk - the pagan/new age writer? I'll have to look her up.

What? Joe keep his word and respond?

I'm turning blue already.

We will learn more in July. The expenditures disclosure schedule is twice a year.

Yes indeedy, it is that Starhawk. She taught a seminar at Sophia Center at Holy Names College (now University) in Oakland for my Masters program.
